What This Diagnostic Tells You
Every DM funnel sits in one of 5 maturity stages. The stage determines what to fix next, what tools to buy, who to hire, and what the realistic revenue ceiling is. Operators who skip stages always regret it. You cannot run Stage 5 automation on a Stage 2 process. The AI will just amplify your bad reply scripts at higher volume.
This quiz tells you exactly which stage you are in, what defines that stage, what defines the next stage, and the 30-90 day roadmap to move up one stage.
The 5-stage model is built from the patterns we see across DM Champ accounts. The same gaps show up over and over: operators in Stage 1 tend to share the same gaps, and operators in Stage 4 tend to share the same systems. The model is descriptive, not aspirational. It is the map of where DM funnels actually live.
The PDF you get back includes your stage, your three axis scores (Speed, Depth, Recovery), the specific gap to the next stage, and a roadmap with named tools, named systems, and named processes.
The same AI delivering this read is one click away. Ask it anything. Push back. See if you can break it.
How It Works
Step 1. Comment MATURITY on the post. DM Champ DMs you the quiz.
Step 2. Answer 9 questions in the DM. Multiple choice. Takes 4 minutes.
Step 3. AI scores your answers across Speed, Depth, and Recovery.
Step 4. Custom PDF in 24 hours with your stage, your axis scores, and a 30-90 day roadmap.
Step 5. Use the roadmap to action your next stage. Re-take the quiz anytime to re-score as you improve.
The Diagnostic Logic (What We Actually Score)
The DM Funnel Maturity Model. Five stages. Three axes.
Stage 1: No Funnel. You reply when you remember. No process. Median first reply over 4 hours. No qualifiers. No follow up. Revenue from DMs is incidental, not designed.
Stage 2: Manual Reply. Consistent replies but freestyle. Median first reply 30 minutes to 4 hours. One or two qualifiers, inconsistent. No structured follow up. Revenue from DMs is real but unpredictable.
Stage 3: Templated Reply. Saved replies, quick responses, basic qualifiers. Median first reply 5 to 30 minutes. Three or more qualifiers. 24-hour follow up. Revenue from DMs is the primary channel.
Stage 4: Hybrid AI plus Human. AI handles first reply and qualification. Human takes over at the close. Median first reply under 60 seconds. Full qualifier sequence. 3-touch follow up. Revenue is predictable and scales without adding human headcount linearly.
Stage 5: Full AI Sales Agent. AI handles intake, qualification, objection handling, and booking calls straight from the DM. Human joins only for high-ticket closes. Median first reply under 10 seconds. Full sequence. Automated revival at 7, 14, 30 days. Revenue scales independently of operator hours.
Three axes inside each stage.
Speed: how fast you reply. Measured in median minutes from inbound DM to first response. If you want to see what slow replies actually cost in lost deals, run the slow DM reply revenue loss audit before you fix anything else.
Depth: how many qualifiers you ask before pitching price. Plus quality of qualifiers (open vs closed, sequenced vs random).
Recovery: what happens to ghosters. Number of revival touches at 7, 14, 30 days. If your recovery score is low, the booking confirmation and no-show recovery DM scripts are the fastest way to plug the leak.
Your stage classification is the floor of your three axis scores. Speed 8, Depth 4, Recovery 3 = Stage 2 (the floor of 8, 4, 3 is 3, which maps to Stage 2 thresholds).

The Result Framework
Your PDF contains six sections.
Section 1: Your stage. One of the five. With a one-paragraph definition.
Section 2: Your three axis scores. Speed, Depth, Recovery. Each 1-10. The floor explains your stage classification.
Section 3: The gap to the next stage. Specific, measurable. "You need to move Speed from 4 to 7 to enter Stage 3."
Section 4: 30-90 day roadmap to next stage. Three phases, each with specific actions, tools, scripts.
Section 5: Tools matched to your stage. Stage 1-2 need process and templates, not AI. Stage 3 is the inflection point where AI starts to pay back. Stage 4-5 need full automation.
Section 6: Revenue ceiling at your stage. Based on the patterns we see across DM Champ accounts, what is the realistic revenue ceiling without moving stages.
Where DM Champ Fits (The Honest Bridge)
The maturity model maps cleanly to product fit.
Stage 1: Do not buy a tool. Buy a notebook. Set a 5-minute reply target. Pick a qualifier sequence. The PDF gives you the foundation work.
Stage 2: Templates and a VA beat AI at this stage. Maybe Manychat free tier for one channel. The PDF will say so.
Stage 3: This is where DM Champ pays for itself. The best value is the AppSumo lifetime deal: pay once, keep it forever, and get all future Pro-plan updates. A mid tier moves a Stage 3 funnel to Stage 4 in 30-60 days. If you would rather subscribe than buy once, the Growth plan is $97 per month.
Stage 4: The lifetime deal still wins here. Tier 3 and up ($229+) includes white-labeling, so if you also resell you get it permanently with no recurring platform fee. If you prefer monthly, that is the Pro plan at $297 per month or the Agency plan at $497 per month.
Stage 5: Go with the top lifetime tier, Tier 6 at $999. It includes unlimited sub-accounts and the full agency toolkit (white-label, sub-accounts, and Stripe credit reselling) permanently, with no recurring platform fee. You are running multi-channel, possibly white-labeling to clients. If you would rather subscribe than buy once, the Agency plan is $497 per month.
The honest call. Stage 1 and 2 operators should not buy DM Champ. AI on top of a broken process amplifies the broken process. Fix the process first, automate it second. The PDF says this explicitly when it applies.
If your result puts you in Stage 3 or higher and you want to resell, the AppSumo lifetime deal is built for you. Tier 3 and up ($229+) includes white-labeling, and Tier 6 ($999) adds unlimited sub-accounts plus Stripe credit reselling, all permanent with no recurring platform fee. If you would rather subscribe than buy once, the Agency plan is $497 per month. See /for-agencies/.
