Trafft runs your services, staff and locations. Connecting it to DM Champ lets your AI agent check what is really free, book the slot and confirm the time inside WhatsApp, Instagram, SMS or web chat, instead of sending someone off to a booking link.
How it worksWhat the setup actually looks like, from the connection screen to the first booking or record the AI handles in Trafft.
In Settings, under the Integrations group, click Booking and Calendar. Find the Trafft card and click Connect. The same screen holds your other booking and calendar connections.
Enter your company address, the part in front of .admin.trafft.com, plus the Client ID and Client Secret from Trafft's Features and Integrations, API and Connectors page. A label is optional.
Nothing saves until Trafft confirms it. We sign in and read your setup back, so a wrong address, a wrong secret or a Trafft plan without API access is refused on screen with the reason.
Open the agent, go to the AI Abilities step, switch on Let this agent book appointments, choose Trafft in the provider picker under the switch, and save your changes.
The agent now quotes your services, checks Trafft for real openings, books the slot as an approved booking and tells the customer the confirmed time.
Every screen and field is covered in the setup guide: Trafft documentation.
In the conversationOnce Trafft is the booking provider on an agent, the whole appointment happens inside the chat. The AI reads your services and staff out of Trafft, asks Trafft what is genuinely open, and writes the booking back so what your team sees in Trafft is always the truth. It never hands the customer a link and hopes they finish.
Before you connectYou need API access in Trafft, which is part of Trafft's Business plan. Open your Trafft admin panel and look for Features and Integrations, then API and Connectors. If that page is not there, your Trafft plan does not include it yet and the connection cannot be made. Your Client ID and Client Secret both live on that page, and the company address is whatever sits in front of .admin.trafft.com in the address you sign in at.
Proof it is the right accountWhen the credential check passes, the connected row shows your company address together with how many services and how many staff we found in Trafft. That count is your proof: if it says two services and you offer twenty, you connected the wrong account. The Client Secret is stored encrypted and never shown again, not to you and not to your team. If you lose it, generate a new one in Trafft and connect again.
After the bookingEvery appointment booked this way also appears on your Appointments page with Trafft shown as the provider, so it counts like any other booking. Your Appointment Booked webhook fires and automations that start from a new appointment run as usual, which is how the booking reaches your CRM, your team chat or your reporting. Any reminders or confirmation emails Trafft itself sends still come from Trafft, exactly as they do for a booking made on your Trafft website.
Worth knowingA few things behave differently from what people assume, so they are worth reading before you switch an agent over. None of them stop an appointment business running the whole booking flow through chat, but the first one changes what your Trafft calendar looks like after a cancellation, so if you like keeping a record of cancellations, note them somewhere else.
The same AI agent that closes $40K deals in DMs is one click away. No signup, no demo call - open the chat, push back, see if you can break it.
